                 we've been busy setting up an improved infrastructure, we've taken what's good about our old setup (the virtualisation and backups), and replaced/improved as much as we could.

Our new cPanel servers have the following new features:-

  • 15 Minute Database Snapshots (offsited to France too)
  • FFMPEG Encoding and PHP Support (Videos can be converted through a Webapp)
  • Selectable PHP Version and Extensions on a per Account Basis
  • Softactulous Script Installation (install wordpress in 30s)
  • Running on Xen Cloud Setup (allows upgrades to server specs)
  • Nginx & Apache (possibly litespeed in the future, depending on tests)
  • ASSP Deluxe Advanced Anti Spam System
  • Raid 1 Solid State Disks for Operating System and SSD Hosting Accounts (extra £)
  • Raid 1 Comodity 7200k Disk Drives for Regular File Storage
  • CageFS (Every Website in a Secure Cage for Security)
  • Single or Dual Xeon CPU
  • 32Gb+ of Ram on Host
  • Cloudfare CDN Partner Approved
The only problems that you might get are:-
  • Connection Errors due to DNS Propagation (you need to clear your cache)
  • Possibly need to change your Email Hostname from s2.systemhosted.com to s1.systemhosted.com
